Latto’s career continues to level up, and now the 777 rapper has taken another bold step—baring it all for her first-ever nude shoot. Fresh off gracing the cover of Cosmopolitan, Latto opened up about the experience, calling it empowering and a reflection of her artistry.
While she didn’t go fully uncensored, Latto revealed that going naked on set was a big deal and had to be done on her own terms. “My label manager hit me and asked, ‘Are you open to doing this?’ And I said, ‘Yeah, I’m open. It just has to be tastefully done,’” she explained. “That’s why during the shoot, my eyes are glued to the monitor. My lyrics are vulgar and explicit but tastefully done, at least in my opinion. I wanted the pictures to be as well.”
For Latto, the shoot was less about shock value and more about creating a fantasy. “Not just boom-bam right in your face but more like a tease,” she continued. “Like you’re imagining me being fully naked and not really seeing it for real. I like the fantasy aspect to it. I felt like the prettiest girl in the world, like that’s the best I’ve ever looked.”

The rapper also spoke on embracing her body while she’s young and unburdened by family responsibilities. “I’m young right now. I don’t have real responsibilities as far as kids and a husband. I feel like it’s the right time to embrace how my body looks—and before I have kids and wrinkle up, I’m showing it off while I can, boo.”
But Latto’s moment isn’t just about baring skin. She’s also branching into acting. The “Big Energy” star will appear in the Grown-ish series finale alongside Lil Yachty, Anderson .Paak, Kelly Rowland, and Omarion. Latto will play Sloane, a wine rep who works with Doug, while Kelly Rowland takes on the role of a Cal U professor and Omarion plays himself.
The final season of Grown-ish premieres June 28, closing out the Black-ish spinoff with a star-studded cast—and giving Latto yet another platform to shine.
